Ongoing Bookworms Professional Learning Workshops 

Leadership Coaching Cohort

The Bookworms Leadership Cohort brings together Bookworms administrators, coaches, and specialists nationwide to build knowledge around program design and implementation.

Members of the cohort will receive monthly 1:1 and small group coaching from a Bookworms expert. They will also participate in cohort-wide professional learning sessions. Professional learning topics may include sessions such as:

• Understanding the Science of Reading in Bookworms
• Observing and Delivering Actionable Feedback to Bookworms Teachers
• Incorporating Standards-Based Grading and Reporting of Student Progress
• Creating a Community of Literacy Champions with Families and External Partners
• …and more, based on the needs and interests of the cohort.

There are two cohorts – one for leaders new to Bookworms and one for Experienced Bookworms Leaders.
